Through a study of works in their historical, social and aesthetic context, this course explores literature in the post-colonial Francophone world. It highlights the uses of literary genres and the creation of new forms to express the struggle for unity and social renewal. Prerequisite: AP/FR 2200 6.00. Course credit exclusions: GL/FRAN 3923 3.00, GL/HUMA 3923 3.00.
