Examines the recovery and development of English society after the late medieval crisis. Topics include: aristocracy and peasantry; crime and the law; women; religion; the Tudor state; the Civil War. Course credit exclusions: GL/HIST 3390 3.00, GL/HIST 3395 3.00.
