This course explores the individual and collective significance of the role of communications in culture and society. Various historical, theoretical and methodological approaches are introduced as ways to analyze the impact of communications media in everyday life. Prerequisite: AP/COMN 1000 6.00. Course credit exclusions: AP/COMN 2314 6.00 (Prior to Fall 2012), AP/COMN 2314 9.00 (prior to Fall 2012).


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
