Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

Through an examination of key theoretical texts and case studies, both historical and contemporary, this course will develop a framework for understanding the relationships between culture, communication, aesthetics and politics. Through assignments and a major project students will learn to analyze theoretical approaches and apply them to specific case studies. Course credit exclusion: AP/COMN 4327 6.00 (prior to Fall 2012).


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
