This course offers a literary and theatrical study of Indigenous drama in Canada with some attention to critical theory and relevant historical and cultural contexts. It examines the historical and theatrical conditions that led to the emergence and growth of Indigenous drama in Canada, analyzing key texts in terms of their formal, thematic, and theatrical innovations.Course Credit Exclusions: GL/DRST 3633
