Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

This course introduces students to Greek prose of the Roman Imperial Period in the original Greek. In addition to the study of language and literary form, the course also considers the social and political context of the works. Prerequisite: At least six credits at the 3000 level in Greek (AP/GK) or permission of director of classical studies. Course credit exclusion: AP/GK 3080 3.00. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Prerequisite: At least six credits at the 3000 level in Greek (AS/GK) or permission of director of classical studies. Course credit exclusions: AS/GK 3080 3.00 and AS/GK 4080 3.00.
