Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

This course examines the relationship between Canada and the Global South and will provide students with a deeper understanding of Canada in the global setting. Topics covered shall include various dimensions of corporate and governmental roles in the South, such as the impact of Canadian corporate investment and practices, foreign investment and security policies, and community mobilization and resistance. Prerequisites: AP/ POLS 2910 6.00 or AP/POLS 2940 6.00 or permission of the instructor. Course credit exclusions: None.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
