Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

This online course explores the role of documentary films in understanding the culture of childhood and youth in aglobal context. Through an examination of documentary films (both local and international), this course will provide acritical lens in exploring how children and young people are represented in documentary films that claim to offer insight into the real lives of children and young people around the world. Prerequisites: HUMA 1970 6.00, HUMA 2690 6.00, HUMA 3695 6.00. Notes: Priority will be given to Children's Studies and Humanities majors and minors.
