This course introduces issues related to justice for children from a critical human rights perspective. It incorporates social/legal justice as it applies to the rights ofchildren, drawing on critical social theories, critical legal studies, and critical criminology, and examines how children are influenced by the family, education,media, culture, work, and law in the reproduction of discipline and conformity.Note: Approved SOSC General Education Course for AP. This course will not countfor major credit in HREQ.


Course Start Up
