This course incorporates a critical human right approach and examines women's rights in different religions. The course studies roles religions play in shaping women's experiences and their rights in different cultures and societies. ¿The course focuses on doctrine and practice it involves knowledge, understanding and skills. This course studies the contributions of politics, economy, society, and culture on women's rights. ¿ Course credit exclusion: AP/HREQ 3891 3.00 (prior to Summer 2020)Prerequisites: 78 credits or permission from the undergraduate program director.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
