Examines the stories of how Indigenous communities around the world resist assaults on their lands and cultures, both historically and at present. With an interdisciplinary approach, students learn about Indigenous peoples’ relationships with the natural world and about their approaches to social issues. Note: This is an approved LA&PS General Education course: Social Science Note: This course will not count for major credit in HREQ. Cross-listed: AP/HREQ 1960 6.00
