This course focuses on populism, a concept that has generated a great deal of discussion and debate in media, academic circles and in everyday parlance and conflates widely disparate political and social projects.We use an anthropological lens to investigate the appeal of populism to people who mobilize, vote for, protest and agitate for populist goals.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
