This course explores the history of the Gay and Lesbian Liberation Movement and the resultant political emergence of queer cultures in North America. It addresses current debates within queer cultures, using a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary approach to explore issues around sexualities. Course credit exclusions: AP/GL/WMST 3536 3.00 (prior to Fall 2013). PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AK/AS/WMST 3536 3.00.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
