This course uses a critical human rights approach to explore the role of the Canadian state and the economy through policies and programs in the areas of immigration and settlement. The evolution of the Immigration Act is examined in reference to equity initiatives and exclusionary practices.Course credit exclusion: AP/MIST 3624 6.00 (prior to Summer 2019)Prerequisite: 24 credits


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
