Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

Examines current issues in communication policy in Canada through the use of case studies. It considers such topical issues as: national identity and globalization, convergence and fragmentation, as well as intellectual property, privacy, and global media regulation, among others. This course was previously offered as AP/COMN 3251 3.00.Prerequisite: AP/COMN 3350 3.00 (prior to Fall 2012) or AP/COMN 3250 3.00. Course credit exclusion: AP/COMN 3351 3.00 (prior to Fall 2012).


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
