The course examines the international politics of human rights and democracy in the region as a window on theoretical and other debates over the universality, origins and purposes of these norms and related institutions in a context of globalization. Course credit exclusions: None. Prior TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusions: AS/POLS 4265 3.00, AS/POLS 4705 3.00 (prior to Fall/Winter 2003-2004).


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
