Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

This transdisciplinary course explores fantasy in the West, not as the opposite of 'reality', but as how people (& groups) imagine/give meaning to their experiences, thereby both shaping and resisting the so-called 'realities' of Western cultures. We ask how storytelling might be used to bring people together to imagine ways to speak out against oppression and build stronger communities.
