Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite
The purpose of this course is to provide students with an opportunity to develop their knowledge of criminological issues and approaches in a practical context. The course begins with in-class workplace-related skills training followed by placement in a government, community, or non-governmental organization working with people in conflict with the law, victims of crime, or in crime prevention. Application required.Prerequisites: AP/SOSC 1650 6.00 with a grade of at least B.
Course Start Up
Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
