This course explores the conditions of women's work, paid and unpaid. The historical development of a sexual division of labour and the roles played by the family, employers, trade unions and government policy in the gendering of jobs is examined. Course credit exclusions: AP/GL/WMST 3510 6.00 (prior to Fall 2013). PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusion: AS/WMST 3510 6.00, AK/SOSC 3380 6.00.
