This course examines how mediated story-telling shapes individual and collective experiences. Together we investigate the relationships between media representation and identity formation. This course questions how power struggles are waged over the right to tell our stories and the stories of others. Students explore the impact of mediated story-telling through critical reflection on creative processes.AP/CMDS 1435 3.00 was previously offered as AP/COMN 1435 3.00.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
