Through a linguistic analysis of a corpus of samples of spoken French, this course focuses on the phonetic, phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical characteristics of social varieties of contemporary French. Prerequisites: AP/FR 2100 6.00 with a minimum grade of C and AP/FR 2200 with a minimum grade of C and at least three credits in language chosen from among AP/FR 3080 6.00, AP/FR 3081 3.00, or AP/FR 3082 3.00.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
