Archaeology and society are intertwined, locally and globally. This course interrogates those connections, examining the role of archaeological heritage and investigation within contemporary society, as well as the influence of social and political forces on archaeological interpretation, governance and practice. Recommended prerequisites: AP/ANTH 2140 6.00; AP/ANTH 2150 6.00.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
