This course examines the role played by selected corporations in generating major economic, political and cultural changes in the global economy. Whether as agents of 'creative destruction', colonialism, or globalization, corporations are critically examined for the transformative impact they had on social relations and our relationship with nature. Alternatives to dominant corporate forms are also examined. Pre-requisites: AP/SOSC 1340 6.00 or 9.00


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
