AP/FR1003 3.0 A: French Foundations (CEFR A2)

Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

This course enables students to acquire a strong foundation in writing and grammar skills, and to a lesser degree of oral proficiency, progressing from the CEFR A1 to A2 level. Students build confidence while discovering Francophone culture. This course does not count towards the degree requirements for students majoring or minoring in French Studies.Prerequisite: AP/FR 0120 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C, or C- under the new grading scheme) or AP/FR 1002 3.00 (with a minimum grade of C, or C- under the new grading scheme) or GL/FRAN 1820 3.00 (with a minimum grade of C, or C- under the new grading scheme), or through a language placement test. Course credit exclusions: AP/FR 0130 6.00, AP/FR 1030 6.00, GL/FRAN 1825 3.00, GL/FRAN 1325 3.00.


Course Start Up
