Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

This course examines the Japanese immigration experience within the context of Canada's Asian diaspora focusing not only on first generation immigrants, but also on their descendants. It will take the form of a chronological survey of Japanese immigration to Canada as there can be no meaningful understanding of this experience without a historical context. Prerequisites: AP/JP 2700 6.00 or permission of the instructor. Course credit exclusions: None.


Course Start Up
