This course studies the emerging patterns of work in Canadian society. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the post-war work world, the causes of its breakdown, changing values and identities, and competing scenarios for work, leisure and unemployment. Course credit exclusions: AP/HREQ 1740 6.00, AP/SOSC 1740 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
