A consideration of the theoretical and empirical contributions of anthropology, psychology and sociology to the understanding of people as related to their environment. Topics will include: the foundations of interpersonal behaviour, socialization; the development of culturally shared values and beliefs, and their relation to personality. Note: This course will not count for major credit in HREQ Note: This is an approved LA&PS General Education course: Social Science Course credit exclusion: AP/SOSC 1140 9.00. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Course credit exclusions: AK/SOSC 1710 6.00, AS/SOSC 1140 9.00.
