Examines the theoretical models sociologists employ in analyzing relationships within the health-care system. It shows how the medical and other health professions have developed in Canada within the context of the growth and change of the Medicare system, its organization and administration. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed 84 credits.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
