This course concerns how to design and conduct interdisciplinary research in the field of law and society. Students design a research project from choosing a topic, literature review, proposal drafting and ethics approval to developing research tools such as surveys or interview questionnaires. Students work with secondary and primary materials, including archival, legal, and government documents, according to their interest. Prerequisites: AP/SOSC 2350 6.00 and AP/SOSC 3363 3.00 or with permission of the department. Open only to students in Law & Society.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
